PU04 – 0.4 mm Polyurethane Hose for Industrial Suction
PU04 polyurethane suction hose
The PU04 is a lightweight and highly flexible hose manufactured from soft ester-based polyurethane and reinforced with a copper-plated steel spiral.
Its thin 0.4 mm polyurethane wall provides an excellent balance between flexibility, compressibility and abrasion resistance, making the hose particularly suitable for industrial suction and blowing systems.
Applications
Recommended for the suction and conveying of:
- dust
- fumes
- sawdust
- textile fibres
- light chips and particles
Typical applications include the woodworking, textile and ceramic industries, as well as general industrial extraction systems.
Mechanical and environmental resistance
The polyurethane construction provides good resistance to abrasion, low temperatures, ageing and weathering, as well as resistance to many chemical substances.
Food-contact applications
According to the available technical documentation, the material is suitable for the conveyance of dry food products in accordance with the applicable requirements of EU Regulation No. 10/2011.
The material also complies with the applicable composition requirements of FDA regulations.
Material composition
The hose is manufactured without:
- PVC
- halogens
- phthalates
Raw materials comply with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 – REACH and applicable ECHA updates.
Electrostatic charge dissipation
Where electrostatic charge dissipation is required, the metal spiral can be connected to ground.
